Our small hotel is in the forest of Kiso Kaida highland. There is mountain stream where fish were swimming slowly and the coppice spread out. JOTENKI means splendid weather in Japanese. Our cozy hotel is the perfect place to escape the city and enjoy Japan’s fresh air and mountains. All rooms and whole building no smoking accommodations.
You can choose Japanese-style room or Western-style room.
If you stay in Kaida highland, you can enjoy the great outodoor of Japan and the aymosphere of old Japan.

traffic

It is not difficult to visit us from other major cities (Nagoya,Osaka,Tokyo,Kyoto and so on) through JR Kisofukushima station, express to stop, and Kiso local bus station. There is Kiso tourist information office in front of JR station and get many maps in English.
We will go to the nearest bus stop to pick you up.
Train: 51 minutes by bus from JR Kiso-Fukushima Station → 20 minutes on foot
Car: 30 minutes by car from R19 Kiso Ohashi Bridge

Winter heating cost 880 yen per room（winter season Dec.1 – April 15 )
The booking fee include breakfast (homemade breads,salad,eggs,additive-free sausage,homemade yogurt,fresh brewed organic coffee or tea,fresh juice and milk) & dinner (salad,soup,main course,rice,Japanese pickles and dessert)

Mt.Ontake has been designated as part of the new , Mt.Ontake Quasi-National Park upgrading its status from a prefectural park to a Quasi-National Park.

Rising to an elevation of 3,067 meters, Mt. Ontake is an independent peak blessed with breathtaking natural scenery in every season, alpine plants, and rich forest environments. It has long been revered as a sacred mountain and a center of mountain worship, attracting many climbers and pilgrims over the centuries.

With its new designation as a Quasi-National Park, development and uncontrolled construction will be restricted, ensuring the protection and preservation of its valuable natural environment for future generations.
