木曽町開田高原を含む木曽路が長野県では唯一「日本遺産」に認定されました。

開田高原は、木曽御嶽山の麓、標高1,000〜1,500mに広がる高原です。木曽馬とそばの故郷として知られ、「日本で最も美しい村」にも認定されています。「上天気」は、森の中に佇む一軒宿。約1,000坪の敷地には、イワナが棲む清らかな渓流と、四季折々の表情を見せる雑木林が広がっています。

The historic Kisoji area, including Kaida Kogen in Kiso Town, has been recognized as Nagano Prefecture’s only Japan Heritage site. Kaida highland  stretches across the foothills of Mt.Ontake at elevations of 1,000–1,500 meters. Known as the home of the Kiso horse and traditional soba, it is also recognized as one of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan”. JOTENKI is a secluded inn nestled in the forest. It features a clear mountain stream where char fish swim and woodlands that display the beauty of all four seasons.

A log sign marks the entrance. The parking area is spacious and easy to use, with room for more than 10 cars.

裏の渓流からの本館。敷地内で森林浴ができます。川の側はとても涼しいです。
The main building as seen from the stream behind the property. You can enjoy forest bathing within the grounds, and it is especially cool and refreshing by the riverside.

駐車場内に御嶽北峰継子岳が望めるテラスができました。ビールでも片手におくつろぎ下さい。
A new terrace has been added in the parking area, offering views of the north face of Mt.Ontake . Relax and unwind with a beer in hand while enjoying the scenery.

一階ホール public space

30畳の一階ホールは夏はそよ風冬は暖炉の火がお迎えします。
Our first-floor hall welcomes you with gentle summer breezes and the warm glow of the fireplace in winter.

テーブルはすべて地元木工作家の作品です。
All the tables are handcrafted by a local wood artisan.

真空管アンプの柔らかい音をお楽しみ下さい。 
Please enjoy the warm, mellow sound of the vacuum tube amplifier.

＊ホールの隅に保護犬なながいます。うるさくないようにしつけていますが、ご了解ください。尚、犬アレルギーのある方はお申し出ください。

Our rescued dog, Nana, stays quietly in the corner of the hall. She is well trained and not noisy, but we appreciate your understanding. If you have a dog allergy, please let us know.

2名様程度でご利用できるお風呂が二つあります。鍵がかかりますので、家族風呂としてお使いいただけます。
ご利用時間16：00～22：00

• Toothbrushes, razors, and bathing towels are free. Please ask if you need them.

Baths

There are two baths suitable for about two people each. They can be locked, allowing you to use them as private family baths.
Available from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
